Should You Choose a Wedding Ring Set?

Not everyone goes with a set. Many couples start off with the engagement ring only, then purchase the bands together at a later date. The diamond engagement ring is characterized by a diamond solitaire that might be round, oval, square or pear-shaped. There are even heart-shaped diamonds available these days. The selection of an engagement ring is a personal choice that has a lot to do with one's individual taste. Sometimes, the man doing the proposing will choose the engagement ring on his own. Other times, the couple will shop together. Still another option is an engagement ring that's been handed down from generation to generation, as is custom in some families. It all depends on the values and preferences of each individual couple.

Whether you choose a wedding ring set or decide to buy the rings separately, the most important thing is that you and your fiance select rings that you both love. After all, wedding rings are pieces of jewelry that will be worn for many years, perhaps even for the rest of your life! That's why it's so important to take your time and make sure you're both perfectly satisfied with every aspect of the rings you choose.
